Today's Lesson - Greetings

Konnichiwa, minna-san~~~ >.<
It's been a while...... XD
Today, let's learn some of Japanese greetings that we can use in daily conversation..... ^^


Ohayou / Ohayou gozaimasu (おはよう / おはようございます)
Has the same meaning as "Good morning".

Konnichiwa (こんにちは)
Has the same meaning as "Good afternoon/good day".


Konbanwa (こんばんは)
Has the same meaning as "Good evening".

Oyasumi nasai (おやすみなさい)
Has the same meaning as "Good night". Also used when it's already bed time. ^^

Sayonara (さよなら)
Has the same meaning as "Good bye". Usually, used when we're parted for a long time.

Dewa mata (ではまた)
Has the same meaning as "See you later".

Mata ashita (また明日)
Has the same meaning as "See you tomorrow".

Genki desu ka? (元気ですか?)
Has the same meaning as "How are you". Used when we're going to ask someone about his/her condition.

Ohisashiburi (お久しぶり)
Has the same meaning as "It's been a while" or "Long time no see".
